A somewhat dull book, not gripping, but that is what you expect from a saga. Unfortunately I had to put it down (forcefully into a trash can) when a 70-80 year old alien prince sleeps with a 12 year old girl.
Oh my goodness. Yeah, the last book I read by Kevin J. Anderson was stupid, too. It was EXACTLY like Young Jedi Knights, but with a different setting. Same character set up and whatnot. Ugh. I just don't really like Kevin J. Anderson as a writer period (or Rebbeca Moesta, for that matter). So don't give up on sagas totally yet D: Unless you've tried other ones and they also bored you . . .
Just so you know, don't read Game of Thrones, or anything of the Song of Ice and Fire series. The one book I read was FULL of disgusting relationships like this one, and the good guys all die.
